Gestalt therapy and counseling in individual sessions and for couples in Berlin Pankow.
There are situations and personal constitutions in which we urgently need support and guidance. However, it does not need to become unbearable before seeking help. My fundamental conviction is that every person and every couple benefits from expert support.
Your reasons for seeking information about psychological counseling or therapy will be very diverse. Perhaps you are dealing with a specific issue or event that you would like support in dealing with. Or perhaps you don't feel comfortable in your own skin or in your current life situation and want to change something, but you can't get anywhere on your own. Perhaps you aren't even able to pin down your dissatisfaction or depression. In any of these cases, you are very welcome - alone or with your partner.
Please feel free to contact me for a free initial consultation to get to know each other and to work out together which topics are most important to you.
An individual session lasts 50 minutes and costs 80 €.
Couples sessions last 80 minutes, usually take place with a second counselor and cost €120 per person.
An initial consultation is free of charge.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to bill Gestalt therapy services through public health insurance in Germany (unlike in Austria, for example). If you have private insurance, reimbursement or coverage might be possible.
Some advantages of paying yourself:
Please also contact me if you are looking for psychological counseling or gestalt therapy support but are in a financially difficult situation.
It is not easy to distinguish between the various types of psychotherapy. Gestalt therapy is a humanistic therapy approach - in other words: it focuses on you as a person. Contrary to what the term "Gestalt" suggests, it is not an art therapy, but a conversation-based psychotherapy. However, creative techniques might be integrated. The approach was founded in the 1950s by the psychoanalysts Fritz and Laura Perls and the social philosopher and writer Paul Goodman.

I grew up in the Ruhr area and have been living and working in Berlin since 2016.
I studied psychology and economics and have worked in research and business. I have been working as a Gestalt therapist since 2019 and in my own practice since 2022. I also work in human resources development.
In counseling or therapy, I meet you in my role as a Gestalt therapist. Just like you, however, I have more than one role; which one is in the foreground depends on the context.
I don't like being pigeonholed. That is also particularly important to me in my work with you, my clients. Gestalt therapy provides a good basis for this understanding.
In addition to the above-mentioned training and further education, I have been greatly influenced and inspired by texts and books by Laura Perls (e.g. "Living at the Boundary"), Irvin D. Yalom (e.g. "Love's Executioner"), David Schnarch (e.g. "Passionate Marriage") and Friedemann Schulz von Thun (e.g. "Talking with Each Other").
